Callow Hall <\/h2>\n

The opening of Callow Hall in Derbyshire this summer has signalled the launch of a new boutique hotel brand, Wildhive. Callow Hall has been transformed by interior designer Isabella Worsley, who previously worked alongside Firmdale Hotels\u2019 designer and founder, Kit Kemp.
\nThe main house comprises 15 bedrooms, and then dotted amongst the woodland are 11 one-bedroom woodland Hives, complete with bathroom, kitchenette and outdoor bathing, all designed by Worsley. There will also be two treehouses on site, from Blue Forest, each designed to \u2018sit amongst the trees\u2019 and are geared for self-catering with open-plan sitting rooms and kitchens.
\nExecutive chef David Bukowicki, previously at Barnsdale Lodge in Rutland, is overseeing the food and drink and has created a menu which celebrates the seasons and the best of British produce. Callow Hall\u2019s 15 beehives will be managed by the Derbyshire Bee Society and will provide honey for the house. Callow Hall\u2019s kitchen garden will also provide seasonal vegetables and herbs.
\nThe new bespoke contemporary glass Garden Room will serve inspiring seasonal dishes from breakfast through to dinner and has a sedum roof to provide a habitat for birds and insects. Callow Hall was built between 1849 and 1852 for John Goodwin Johnson. It opened as a hotel in 1982 and for 26 years it was run by the Spencer family until it was sold to Von Essen Hotels.<\/p>\n

The Harper<\/h2>\n

The Harper is the first venture for the Cutmore-Scott family, whose hospitality background has been built up in the wedding industry. Taking a leap into the boutique hotel market, the family have created a new offering for Norfolk, which they hope will carve the way for a new collection.
\nIn May, the Cutmore-Scott family opened the doors to their first boutique hotel in Norfolk, in a change of pace from running their successful portfolio of wedding venues across the country.
\nThe brick and flint-built barn in Langham was previously home to Langham Glass, a cottage industry that outgrew its premises as glassblowing blossomed. Now having been transformed into The Harper, its new incarnation retains the fabric of the historic building and retells its story with a bold, industrial aesthetic in its public areas.
\nHome to 32 bedrooms, restaurant Stanley\u2019s named after owner Sam Cutmore-Scott\u2019s grandfather, living room Ivy\u2019s paying tribute to Sam\u2019s late grandmother, and games room, The Den. The hotel\u2019s name also pays homage to family relatives who inspired the new venture.
\nStanley\u2019s Restaurant has a huge focus on fresh ingredients and boast two concepts; an \u2018all-day dine anywhere\u2019 menu and a slightly more refined, but not fussy, a la carte offering.
\nThe Harper also boasts outside space, The Yard with food served from The Shack, plus a spa with pool, hot tub, sauna, steam room and two treatment rooms.<\/p>\n

Mondrian London<\/h2>\n

The Accor brand Mondrian makes its much-anticipated return to London this month.
\nMondrian Shoreditch London will open following a major overhaul and redesign of the former The Curtain hotel, headed up by design studio Goddard Littlefair.
\nThe news follows Accor\u2019s acquisition of sbe\u2019s hotel brands in Q4 2020 and its planned joint venture with Ennismore, which will see the creation of \u2018one of the world\u2019s largest and fastest growing lifestyle operators\u2019 later this summer.
\nMondrian Shoreditch London will mark the return of the Mondrian brand to London when the new hotel launches in spring and will be the sixth property in the global portfolio.
\nThe Mondrian brand exited London in January 2019 as sbe handed over the reins of the 359-bedroom Mondrian London hotel to the Lore Group.<\/p>\n

The Star, Alfriston<\/h2>\n

Dynamic mother-and-daughter duo, Olga and Alex Polizzi have opened their new hotel, The Star in Alfriston, Sussex.
\nThe Grade-II listed 15th century building has opened as a 30-bedroom hotel, featuring Olga\u2019s Polizzi\u2019s signature design flair, and comprising an all-day casual dining space as well as a more formal restaurant.
\nIn December 2019 Olga Polizzi, the renowned interior designer, hotelier and director of design for Rocco Forte Hotels bought The Star, Alfriston, in East Sussex, with her daughter, Alex Polizzi, the businesswoman and presenter of Channel 5 television show, The Hotel Inspector.
\nOlga Polizzi already owns Hotel Tresanton in Cornwall and Hotel Endsleigh in Devon, while The Star, Alfriston is the first official joint venture for the mother and daughter duo.

NoMad London<\/h2>\n

The hottest ticket in town right now is a reservation at the restaurant within the new Nomad London. Instagram is peppered with candid shots from the vast dining space, which has created quite the buzz since opening in May.
\nThe historic former Bow Street Magistrates\u2019 Court and Police Station in Covent Garden has been transformed into a 91-bedroom hotel, including 21 suites, plus a handful of exciting drinking and dining destinations taking residence in the Grade-II listed building.
\nAt the heart of the hotel, The NoMad Restaurant is housed in a light-filled atrium evocative of an Edwardian greenhouse and is open five days a week (Tuesday to Saturday).
\nSide Hustle is NoMad\u2019s version of a British pub with a decidedly New York \u2018sensibility and a playful spirit\u2019, serving a menu of sharing plates paired with an agave-based list of spirits created by mixologist Leo Robitschek and the NoMad Bar team.
