Following the removal of lockdown restrictions across England, the Museum of London and the Museum of London Docklands will reopen to the public on May 19, 2021, following a five-month closure, as per government guidelines.<\/h1>\n

The Museum of London Docklands has announced the extension of many exhibits and shows, including the \u2018Havering Hoard: A Bronze Age Mystery’ exhibition on London’s largest Bronze Age hoard, which will run until August 22, 2021. As part of the exhibition exploring the mystery and context surrounding the burial of the cache, a fascinating array of 453 bronze tools and weapons, dated from c. 900-800 BC, will be on display, including axe heads, sword fragments, and daggers.
\nThe exhibition \u2018The Krios of Sierra Leone’, which is located in the Museum of London Docklands’ London, Sugar & Slavery gallery, has also been extended until 4 July 2021. The exhibit delves into the Krio society of Sierra Leone’s little-known history, architecture, culture, language, and traditions.
\nThe Museum of London Docklands has also announced the reopening of the Mudlarks children’s exhibition, as well as the addition of new interactive features that will highlight the abundance of artefacts discovered along the Thames’s foreshore.<\/p>\n<\/h2>\n

The exclusive exhibition \u2018Dub London: Bassline of a City’ at the Museum of London has been extended until September 5, 2021. The exhibition delves into the cultural phenomenon of dub reggae music in London through a series of artifacts and personal stories.
\nThe Museum of London\u2019s director Sharon Ament said: \u2018After a year of restrictions and closures, it seems we as a society have never been more aware of just how necessary culture is and how much museums matter.
\n\u2018Our teams have been busy behind the scenes readying our sites to safely welcome our visitors once again. From \u201cHavering Hoard: A Bronze Age Mystery\u201d at the Museum of London Docklands to \u201cDub London: Bassline of a City\u201d at the Museum of London, this will most certainly be the summer to visit us, and we cannot wait to welcome everyone who does.\u2019<\/p>\n<\/h2>\n
