Bamboo Airways Will Fly From London Gatwick To Hanoi
Bamboo Airways, a Vietnamese carrier, is continuing its worldwide growth by announcing another trip to London, this time to Gatwick Airport (QH92). The airline is expanding, with intentions to expand its network and fleet size in the face of competition from other carriers in Vietnam.
From October 30th, Bamboo Airways will begin once a week service between Hanoi’s Noi Bai International Airport (HAN) and London Gatwick (LGW). The airline has begun selling flight tickets on its own website. The route will be served by Bamboo’s flagship aircraft, the Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner.
For their nonstop travel to London, passengers can expect a three-class layout on the plane, including premium economy and a business class offering with flat beds.
While London’s main airport, Heathrow (LHR), sees the most flights to Asia, Gatwick is progressively expanding its own global links, with flights to Bangkok and Singapore (Scoot), Doha (Qatar Airways and British Airways), Islamabad (British Airways), and Dubai (Emirates). Bamboo will be the latest airline to operate long-distance flights from the airport.
