In Britain, British Airways have asked the authorities to cancel the two-week quarantine for tourists.
BA noted that quarantine could adversely affect the restoration of the tourism industry after the opening of air services.
In a letter to the British government, they call the 14-day quarantine, which begins on Monday, June 8, “unjustified and disproportionate.”
British Airways added that due to quarantine the number of people entering and leaving will be very low. They called on the government to reconsider its decision for the EU countries, since there the incidence rate is lower than the British.
