Major elements of Nolan’s first trilogy, Batman Begins (2005), as well as Tim Burton’s 1989 picture Batman, were shot in the majestic St. Pancras Renaissance Hotel. Burton filmed the Gotham Globe Office at this hotel’s ladies’ smoking area.
It was the only venue in 1873 that permitted ladies to smoke in public. Today, it is a well-known five-star Marriott UK hotel that has retained its old-world elegance and beautiful architecture. The granite pillars, traditional timber interiors, and intricate architecture make it one of London’s most sought-after residences.
