Museum of London Docklands will reopen to the public on May 19
Following the removal of lockdown restrictions across England, the Museum of London and the Museum of London Docklands will reopen to the public on May 19, 2021, following a five-month closure, as per government guidelines. The Museum of London Docklands has announced the extension of many exhibits and shows, including the ‘Havering Hoard: A Bronze Age Mystery’ exhibition on London’s largest Bronze Age hoard, which will run until August 22, 2021. As part of the exhibition exploring the mystery and context surrounding the burial of the cache, a fascinating array of 453 bronze tools and weapons, dated from c. 900-800 BC, will be on display, including axe heads, sword fragments, and daggers.
