Sloe Gin from Buckingham Palace
Buckingham Palace introduces its own sloe gin made with Eastern European berries. Sloe gin is a quintessentially British liqueur made traditionally from berries selected from the numerous blackthorn shrubs found in the country’s hedgerows. Buckingham Palacenhas confirmed that in order to make its own sloe gin, it was forced to import the berries from Eastern Europe because the UK’s fruits were not up to standard.
