Paddington Bear coming to British Library for a new exhibition. A new exhibition about Paddington Bear is opening at the British Library. Memorabilia from photographs to first editions will go on display in the show dedicated to the marmalade sandwich eating star of page and screen. Paddington: The Story of a Bear (9 July – 31 October 2021). Some of the exhibits will be loaned to the library by the family of novelist Michael Bond, who founded Paddington in 1958 after witnessing a lonely teddy bear on a shelf at a shop near West London station. Flights from Gibraltar to London City Airport (LCY) will begin on June 11th. Flights will begin two weeks earlier than scheduled. Even though a travel corridor between Gibraltar and the United Kingdom is expected to be approved after May 17th, BA CityFlyer has moved the launch of its new route from London City Airport to Gibraltar forward.
