Paddington Bear coming to British Library for a new exhibition. A new exhibition about Paddington Bear is opening at the British Library. Memorabilia from photographs to first editions will go on display in the show dedicated to the marmalade sandwich eating star of page and screen. Paddington: The Story of a Bear (9 July – 31 October 2021). Some of the exhibits will be loaned to the library by the family of novelist Michael Bond, who founded Paddington in 1958 after witnessing a lonely teddy bear on a shelf at a shop near West London station. From Gibraltar to London City Airport

Flights from Gibraltar to London City Airport (LCY) will begin on June 11th. Flights will begin two weeks earlier than scheduled. Even though a travel corridor between Gibraltar and the United Kingdom is expected to be approved after May 17th, BA CityFlyer has moved the launch of its new route from London City Airport to Gibraltar forward. Flights will now begin on June 11th, rather than the 25th as previously planned. Tickets are already on sale. The Covid-19 outbreak appears to be under control, thus Gibraltar has few limitations. Without tourist money, St Paul’s Cathedral may be closed down. If more regular funding is not found, St Paul’s Cathedral may have to close permanently, according to officials. The world-famous London site is almost totally reliant on tourist money from ticket sales, and the pandemic has impacted negatively on its finances. As a result of the building’s closure in 2020, its revenue fell by 90%. So far this year, the fall has been similar. British Airways created new nap pods for its First Class passengers in Heathrow Airport. Traveling is exhausting, but British Airways has created a solution for its First Class passengers, new nap pods where they may rest for 20 minutes before boarding their flight.
